In April 2015, at the Shanghai International Auto Show, the official demonstration of the fourth generation Lexus RX SUV in the new RX200t modification took place, and this event took place a few weeks after the world premiere of the "main" model. The car, which became the first turbocharged "Er-X" in history, reached the Russian market in November 2015.
Externally, the Lexus RX200t does not differ from the "350", with the exception of the nameplates - a beautiful and daring body, strewn with sharp edges, with a branded "spindle" of the radiator grille, fully LED optics with L-shaped graphics and two powerful exhaust pipes.
The overall dimensions of the "two hundredth" are identical to those of the fourth generation RX 350: 4890 mm in length, 1895 mm in width and 1685 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2790 mm of the total length. The ground clearance of the premium crossover in "combat" condition is 200 mm.
The interior decoration of the Lexus RX200t is a modern and stylish design, luxurious finishing materials and high quality workmanship. In terms of the comfort of the driver and passengers, the crossover is in no way inferior to its atmospheric "brother", providing a sufficient amount of space in both the front and rear seats.
The luggage compartment of the premium crossover holds from 553 to 1626 liters of luggage. The backrest of the rear sofa is transformed in the proportion "60 to 40" by means of an electric drive, but it does not fit into a flat surface.
Specifications. Under the hood of the Lexus RX200t is an 8AR-FTS aluminum gasoline unit with a volume of 2.0 liters (1998 cubic centimeters) with direct power technology, a twin scroll turbocharger and a complex for adjusting the valve timing at the outlet and inlet. The engine generates peak 238 "horses" at 4800-5600 rpm and 350 Nm of torque, developed in the range from 1650 to 4000 rpm.
Together with the supercharged "four", the crossover has an exclusively 6-band "automatic". By default, the "200" is equipped with a drive to the front axle, but for a surcharge, an all-wheel drive transmission with an electromagnetic JTEKT clutch is available, capable of throwing up to 50% of the thrust back.
It takes 9.2-9.5 seconds for the car to start spurt from zero to “hundred”, its “maximum” is 200 km / h, and the average “consumption” of fuel does not exceed 7.8-7.9 liters in mixed conditions.
Structurally, the Lexus RX200t repeats the "350": an upgraded chassis from the 3rd generation model, McPherson struts at the front, multi-link rear, electric power steering with progressive characteristics and ventilated brake discs on all wheels.
Optionally, the premium "Japanese" is equipped with an adaptive suspension and the "F SPORT" package.
Options and prices. For Russian buyers, the 2017 Lexus RX200t is offered in four main equipment options - Standard, Comfort, Executive and Luxury.
The basic equipment of the car costs a minimum of 2,775,000 rubles, and its standard list of equipment includes: 18-inch light-alloy rollers, ten airbags, LED headlights and lights, a dual-zone "climate", a multimedia complex with an 8-inch display, ABS, ESP etc. For the "top" option will have to pay from 3 855 000 rubles.
